In the second game of the NBA\u2019s 2025 summer league for both teams, the Houston Rockets<\/a> (0-2) fell to the Detroit Pistons<\/a> (2-0) on Sunday afternoon, 98-83 (box score<\/a>).<\/p>\n All games of the five-game, 10-day summer league event are played at the Thomas & Mack Center and Pavilion in Las Vegas, and each of the league\u2019s 30 teams participates. Rosters for each team are available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n After a strong debut on Friday<\/a>, it was a rougher outing for second-year Rockets guard Reed Sheppard, who had 18 points, 6 turnovers, 4 steals, and 1 assist while shooting just 6-of-19 from the field (31.6%) and 1-of-7 from 3-point range (14.3%).<\/p>\n The physical, pressing defense of the Pistons frequently created problems for Sheppard and other members of Houston\u2019s summer squad.
