The Magic also will play three games on TNT — at the New York Knicks on Dec. 3 in the NBA Cup, and at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Dec. 19 and the Cavaliers again on Feb. 25.

The team also has games scheduled on NBA TV on Oct. 26 at Memphis, at Kia Center against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Jan. 9, at the Golden State Warriors on Feb. 3 and at home against the Dallas Mavericks on March 27.

All of the Magic’s national TV games are against teams that made the playoffs or play-in last season except the Grizzlies, but Memphis had an extraordinary number of injuries last season and is expected to rebound in the upcoming season. The Warriors were the only play-in team among Orlando’s national TV games.

Those games give the Magic the opportunity to show the rest of the country whether they are ready to be discussed among the league’s better teams and to give more national exposure to their young core. During the past several seasons, the Magic have had only one or no regular-season games on ESPN or TNT.

The Magic will open and close the 2024-25 season on the road, as the campaign begins Oct. 23 against the Miami Heat at the Kaseya Center, and the final game of the season is in Atlanta against the Hawks on April 13. Orlando’s home opener is Oct. 25 against the Brooklyn Nets.

Their busiest month will be December, when they play 16 games. They play 15 games each in January and March.

The longest road trip of the season is for 11 days and six games, starting from Miami on Jan. 27, heading directly to the furthest destination from Miami — Portland, Ore. — on Jan. 30 and ending against the 2023 NBA champion Nuggets in Denver on Feb. 6.

Once again, the start of the season is heavy on road games. Orlando plays 16 of its first 25 games of the season on the road. They get their two west coast trips out of the way by that Feb. 6 game against Denver. Four of the team’s final six games, which could be important for their playoff push or a fight for postseason seeding, also are on the road.

Orlando’s longest home stands of the season — two of them — are six games. The first is from Dec. 19 to Dec. 29, and the second extends for 12 days, from Feb. 21 to March 4.

The Magic play seven home games in November, December, January and February and eight in March.

They have 13 back-to-back games, encompassing 26 of their 82 regular-season matchups. That is down from last season, when they played 15 back-to-backs. Nine of their back-to-backs involve travel.

The season features four games against the defending champion Boston Celtics. The defending Western Conference champion Mavericks will pay a visit to Kia Center on March 27, and for the Lakers lovers, Lebron James and his teammates will be in town March 24. Victor Wembanyama will come to Orlando on Feb. 8.

Scroll down to see the full schedule.

In connection with the schedule release, the Magic announced a new theme for the upcoming season: “Make it Magic.”

<img decoding="async" src="https://www.rawchili.com/nba/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/orlando_magic_make_it_magic_logo_2024_25.jpeg" alt="" class="hashed-image image" img-data-alignment="center" img-data-width="percent-hundred" loading="lazy" img-data-caption="The Orlando Magic have announced a new theme for the upcoming season: 'Make it Magic.'
