The Denver Nuggets have had a busy offseason thus far and that continued into Las Vegas for the 2025 NBA Summer League.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for Denver, they finished the Summer League with a 2-3 record, though they did finish with two consecutive victories after losing their first three games.<\/p>\n

During the Summer League, the Nuggets had multiple players who impressed but three of them stood out above the rest.<\/p>\n

Curtis Jones<\/p>\n

Jones went undrafted in the 2025 draft out of Iowa State and he clearly thought he had something to prove during the Summer League.<\/p>\n

In five games, the 23-year-old guard averaged 14.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game while shooting 54.9% from the field and 46.7% from three.<\/p>\n

It was an impressive Summer League from the young guard and Denver rewarded him for it on Monday as they signed him to a two-way contract.<\/p>\n

DaRon Holmes II<\/p>\n

Of course, Holmes II was the Nuggets\u2019 first-round selection in the 2024 draft but he missed his entire rookie season due to a torn Achilles.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old forward was able to return during the Summer League and he impressed in the four games he suited up for.<\/p>\n

In those four games, Holmes II averaged 13.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 51.3% from the field and 42.1% from three.<\/p>\n

It was an impressive summer for the second-year forward as he might have played his way into a large role for the Nuggets next season, especially with their lack of depth in the frontcourt.<\/p>\n

Spencer Jones<\/p>\n

Jones entered the Summer League looking to impress to improve his minutes off the bench next season and he was able to do just that.<\/p>\n

In four games, the 24-year-old forward averaged 12.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 51.5% from the field and 45.5% from three.<\/p>\n

These three players all showed out in Las Vegas this summer for Denver and they should all see solid roles next season either in the NBA or the G League.<\/p>\n
