{"id":195758,"date":"2025-07-26T14:17:08","date_gmt":"2025-07-26T14:17:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/195758\/"},"modified":"2025-07-26T14:17:08","modified_gmt":"2025-07-26T14:17:08","slug":"warriors-knicks-hiring-new-coaches-to-staffs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/195758\/","title":{"rendered":"Warriors, Knicks Hiring New Coaches To Staffs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Warriors and Knicks are adding new coaches to their respective staffs.<\/p>\n<p>According to agent Misko Raznatovic (<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MiskoRaznatovic\/status\/1948422625866186805\" rel=\"nofollow\">Twitter link<\/a>), Golden State is hiring Nikola Milojevic to its staff after he spent the 2024\/25 season with Mega Basket in Serbia.<\/p>\n<p>Nikola is the son of former Warriors assistant Dejan Milojevic, who tragically <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopsrumors.com\/2024\/01\/warriors-assistant-dejan-milojevic-dies-at-age-46.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">passed away<\/a> in January 2024 at age 46 following a heart attack. Dejan was a former star player in Europe and the longtime head coach of Mega Basket, where he coached future NBA MVP <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/j\/jokicni01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.hoopsrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-07-26_bbr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Nikola Jokic<\/a> from 2012-15.<\/p>\n<p>As for the Knicks, they\u2019re expected add Charles Allen as an assistant coach, reports Michael Scotto of HoopsHype (<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MikeAScotto\/status\/1948888956034318403\" rel=\"nofollow\">via Twitter<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Allen was the head video coordinator for the Jazz <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopsrumors.com\/2022\/07\/pacific-notes-suns-ayton-lakers-swider-kings.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">prior<\/a> to joining Mike Brown\u2018s <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopsrumors.com\/2022\/08\/kings-officially-announce-mike-browns-coaching-staff.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">staff<\/a> in Sacramento in 2022. He was <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopsrumors.com\/2024\/09\/kings-promote-jay-triano-to-associate-head-coach.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">promoted<\/a> to be the Kings\u2019 player development coach last fall.<\/p>\n<p>Allen is the second former Kings assistant to be reuniting with Brown, New York\u2019s new lead coach, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopsrumors.com\/2025\/07\/knicks-to-hire-riccardo-fois-to-coaching-staff.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">joining<\/a> Riccardo Fois.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Warriors and Knicks are adding new coaches to their respective staffs.
