Tyrese Haliburton is still in pursuit of his first NBA championship ring, but the Indiana Pacers star secured a far more personal ring this offseason.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old is retiring his boyfriend title and is officially off the market after proposing to his longtime girlfriend Jade Jones, leveling up their six-year dating<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Monday, the Pacers point guard took to social media to share a glimpse of his unforgettable proposal.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe place where our story started, and where our next chapter begins,\u201d Haliburton\u2019s Instagram caption reads along with a carousel of photos capturing the special moment at Hilton Coliseum in Iowa.<\/p>\n

Despite still recovering from the torn Achilles<\/a> he suffered during the 2025 NBA Finals, the Pacers star dropped to one knee in front of a romantic display that read “Will you marry me,” with rose petals scattered across the floor.<\/p>\n

The comment section was filled with heart emojis and congratulatory messages from fellow athletes and fans.<\/p>\n

Jones responded with a short yet sweet message saying \u201cFuture Mrs. What the Hali\u201d with crying emojis, expressing her overwhelming joy and emotion over the proposal.<\/p>\n

WNBA star and close friend Caitlin Clark also celebrated the couple and commented, \u201cWEDDING TIMEEEEE. LOVE YALL.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to former Iowa Hawkeye star Caitlin Clark, teammate Lexie Hull also sent her congratulations, writing, \u201cYAYAYAY!!!! Congrats, you two.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fellow NBA stars like Milwaukee Bucks\u2019 Myles Turner added to the congratulatory messages with a simple \u201cCongrats Y\u2019all!\u201d<\/p>\n

The same goes for Buddy Hield of the Golden State Warriors, who wrote \u201cCongratulations, my Dawg.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course, the celebration will not be complete without special messages from Haliburton\u2019s team as Pacers\u2019 official Instagram took to the comments and left a one-word message.<\/p>\n

\u201cCongratulations,\u201d along with blue and yellow hearts emojis, in reference to the teams\u2019 iconic colors.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the sister of Haliburton\u2019s girlfriend couldn’t help but leave a playful remark and commented, \u201cThe scooter is a paid actor,\u201d referring to the scooter in the background.<\/p>\n

Haliburton and Jones first met in 2019 at Iowa State University, where they were both students, marking the beginning of their relationship.<\/p>\n
