And that first episode has already sparked debate after its trailer showed Parker appearing to aim a very clear shot at Chicago star Angel Reese.<\/p>\n
Parker, who is considered one of the greatest ever WNBA players, insisted she was ‘not a hater’ before taking aim at Reese.<\/p>\n
“I in no way, shape or form am a hater, but what player are you taking Angel Reese over? Of those I just listed,” Parker asked Boston.<\/p>\n
2023 No.1 pick Boston was the player who separated Clark and Reese after the Chicago star confronted the Fever guard following a hard foul on her, which was deemed a flagrant.<\/a><\/p>\n Shortly after that trailer dropped, it went viral, and Reese appeared to respond on social media with a cryptic post of her own.<\/p>\n \u201cClout is one helluva DRUG. like it really gets to a point.\u201d Reese posted on her official X account.<\/p>\n This is not the first time that Parker has mentioned Reese<\/a>, the three-time WNBA champion faced backlash when she described the Sky forward as a C-tier player.<\/p>\n Parker was creating a tier list and had five categories with “S” tier representing the best, “A” the second best and “D” as the worst.<\/p>\n The first three players were A’ja Wilson, Napheesa Collier, and Breanna Stewart, who all went in Parker’s top “S” tier. <\/p>\n Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Plum, and Sabrina Ionescu went in the “A” tier.<\/p>\n Dallas Wings duo Arike Ogunbowale and Paige Bueckers were placed in the “B” tier.<\/p>\n 3<\/p>\n Reese has had a strong second season with the Sky despite the team’s strugglesCredit: Getty 3<\/p>\n Reese played in the Sky’s recent loss against the Washington MysticsCredit: GETTY<\/p>\n And finally, Cameron Brink and Angel Reese were both placed in the bottom “C” tier.<\/p>\n “I put her right at that C level. I think in terms of being above, you have to be able to have the ability to carry your team, be a one or two option,” Parker said when explaining Reese’s ranking.<\/p>\n “I think Angel Reese is fantastic at her role, which is offensive rebounding. She showed and demonstrated so much growth in that first year.”<\/p>\n Parker, who has earned the right to analyse basketball as a two-time gold medalist, three-time WNBA champion, two-time league MVP and seven-time All-Star, faced scrutiny for her repeated criticisms of Reese.<\/p>\n “Yeah Candace is getting weird.
