Indiana<\/a> has announced the details for its upcoming preseason tour in Puerto Rico. The Hoosiers will play three games from Aug. 6\u201311 on the island, giving IU a chance to get some competition a few months before the 2025\u201326 regular season begins.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t treat them like you would a regular season game, but it\u2019s still an opportunity to get out and play and get a feel for how guys react to opponents that aren\u2019t in the same jerseys we\u2019ve been going against for eight straight weeks. It\u2019s been really a nice luxury for us to have,\u201d head coach Darian DeVries<\/a> told reporters on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Indiana\u2019s schedule is as follows (All times ET):<\/p>\n

Wednesday, Aug. 6 , 7 p.m.
Indiana vs. Universidad de Bayam\u00f3n (Puerto Rico)
Coliseo Guillermo Angulo; Carolina, P.R.<\/p>\n

Saturday, Aug. 9 , 7 p.m.
Indiana vs. Mega Superbet (Serbia)
Coliseo Roberto Clemente; San Juan, P.R.<\/p>\n

Monday, Aug. 11 , 11 a.m.
Indiana vs. Mega Superbet (Serbia)
Coliseo Guillermo Angulo; Carolina, P.R.<\/p>\n

While most of the roster is at full strength heading into the action in Puerto Rico, a few Hoosiers\u2019 availability remains in question.<\/p>\n

Both international signings, Aleksa Ristic<\/a> and Andrej Acimovic<\/a>, have yet to practice with the team, while Acimovic still has yet to arrive in Bloomington. TheHoosier.com<\/a> can confirm that Ristic has joined the team, but hasn\u2019t yet participated in team activities.<\/p>\n

On the two Europeans, DeVries said he didn\u2019t have a clear sense of who will be available.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish I had a more clear-cut answer for you. We\u2019ll kind of let that play out as we get closer. We are pretty close. But we still have a few more days here. We\u2019ll see what the availability is of everybody.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two Hoosiers who have been practicing with the team are also dealing with injuries. Nick Dorn<\/a> and Jason Drake<\/a> have been sidelined during practice, and DeVries provided an update on their status Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe timeline on both of them is a little up in the air, I guess. We\u2019ll see where that leads. We\u2019re obviously hopeful that both of them will be back in a relatively good timeline. But I don\u2019t anticipate \u2014 with Nick, especially \u2014 that would be something more in the fall. So we\u2019ll see how that shakes out as we move forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the Puerto Rico trip fast approaching, Indiana will get some live game action for the first time this season, although fans won\u2019t be able to watch live. Tickets to see the preseason tour are on sale, giving fans an opportunity to see their team in person before the season starts.<\/p>\n
