{"id":20945,"date":"2025-05-09T11:23:11","date_gmt":"2025-05-09T11:23:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/20945\/"},"modified":"2025-05-09T11:23:11","modified_gmt":"2025-05-09T11:23:11","slug":"rapid-fire-with-stephon-castle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/20945\/","title":{"rendered":"Rapid Fire with Stephon Castle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"YWJWW0\">A quick exchange between Rookie of the Year Stephon Castle and Spurs play-by-play announcer Jacob Tobey.<\/p>\n<p id=\"OO3hfB\">Tobey asked Castle about his favorite dunk, favorite game this season, favorite city, favorite piece of advise, and favorite on court celebration.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mzSlxv\">There should be little surprise that Castle\u2019s most memorable dunk was the East Bay from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sbnation.com\/nba-all-star-game\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NBA All-Star Weekend<\/a> dunk contest. <\/p>\n<p id=\"Y0nq2k\">He stated his favorite game was against Golden State, a sign of respect to Harrison Barnes who hot the buzzer-beater that stole game out from under the Warriors. <\/p>\n<p id=\"f5Lddc\">His favorite city was Toronto. Personally, I don\u2019t think as a member of the Spurs this year you could beat the trip to Paris, but that\u2019s just me. <\/p>\n<p id=\"pLP7rw\">Castle didn\u2019t say who gave him the advise, but \u201cdon\u2019t get too low\u201d is sage wisdom for a young player. With Castle\u2019s basketball IQ and talent, he\u2019s staged up for a long career. Seeing through and pushing past negativity will serve him well.<\/p>\n<p id=\"QQEEMt\">Castle\u2019s celly is \u201cspray it down.\u201d I\u2019ll admit, I am 51 and had to look up \u201ccelly.\u201d Simply enough, it means celebration. But my age is not the only one confused, my autocorrect turned it into \u201cbelly\u201d three times before it stuck.<\/p>\n<p id=\"aardBf\">Welcome to The Thread.
