He didn\u2019t see the floor much last season, but per minute played, he showed flashes of what could be in his future. Per 40 minutes, he averaged 7.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 4.0 steals, and 1.6 blocks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=z55dh4VkQoU\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">VIDEO: Stanford Basketball: Mic\u2019d Up | Anthony Batson Jr.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The big weakness he has is his 3-point shot. He went 0-13 from deep last season, so he greatly needs to improve that area. If he can get that going, he could be dangerous given the physical gifts he has. He\u2019s incredibly athletic and quick, capable of jumping out of the gym. The first dunk he throws down in the video of him being \u201cMic\u2019d Up\u201d shows off his hops. That\u2019s the kind of twitch and elevation that you see in NBA prospects.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The bottom line is if he can continue to improve his game and gain more confidence in his shot, Anthony Batson Jr. could end up being a terrific two-way player for the Cardinal. He has the tools to guard both point guards and shooting guards while knowing how to be disruptive in passing lanes while also throwing down dunks with ease. He passes the eye test of what an elite player should look like.
