With Jayson Tatum set to be sidelined<\/a> all season with an achilles injury, the Celtics<\/a> apparently aren\u2019t set up for prime time this Christmas.<\/p>\n

The team will not play on the holiday, according to a report from NBA Insider Shams Charania<\/a>. It will mark the first time the team hasn\u2019t played on Christmas Day since 2015.<\/p>\n

According to Charania, the league\u2019s Christmas Day lineup is as follows:<\/p>\n

Cleveland Cavaliers at New York Knicks<\/p>\n

San Antonio Spurs at Oklahoma City Thunder<\/p>\n

Houston Rockets at LA Lakers<\/p>\n

Dallas Mavericks at Golden State Warriors<\/p>\n

Minnesota Timberwolves at Denver Nuggets<\/p>\n

With Tatum sidelined, Al Horford\u2019s future in question<\/a> and Kristaps Porzingis <\/a>and Jrue Holiday<\/a> gone via trades, Boston is not set up to have the type of season it has become used to in recent years.<\/p>\n

In its place, the only two Eastern Conference teams reportedly selected to play on the holiday are the Cavaliers and Knicks.<\/p>\n
