LOGAN, Utah \u2013\u00a0College basketball fans have a more difficult time connecting with programs, teams, and players than ever, as roster turnover brings in a barrage of new faces every season.<\/p>\n
Aggie men\u2019s basketball Chief of Staff Paul Molinari<\/a> believes Utah State is ahead of the curve when it comes to fostering support and engagement from the community.<\/p>\n Molinari joined Hans and Scotty G. on KSL Sports Zone<\/a> to talk about USU basketball on Friday, August 8.<\/p>\n RELATED: USU Improves Schedule Strength With VCU Rams<\/a><\/p>\n He pointed to a recent open practice when several hundred Aggie fans came out to the practice center to watch the group play for an hour.<\/p>\n \u201c(It) shocked me, 300 people,\u201d Molinari said of the welcome turnout. \u201cThe Aggies come out in full force for a one-hour practice in summer. It\u2019s unbelievable.\u201d<\/p>\n Seeing the support the team and school get from the Cache Valley community gives Molinari confidence that the program can stay competitive for years to come.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s what amazes me about this place,\u201d the New York state native said. \u201cThat\u2019s why it\u2019s magical.
