UConn Basketball<\/a> has added some international flavor to their 2025 recruiting class today, as Uro\u0161 Paunovi\u0107, a Serbia native, announced his decision early Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Paunovi\u0107 is expected to join the team this upcomign 2025-25 season and becomes the Huskies fifth freshman addition for the 2025 class, joining Braylon Mullins<\/a>, Eric Reibe<\/a>, Jacob Ross<\/a>, and Jacob Furphy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 22-year old, 6-foot-4 guard spent the season with KK Zlatibor where he played in 41 total games between the ABA League 2 and the Serbian KLS. In those 41 games, he averaged 7.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game, while playing just under 22 minutes per game. <\/p>\n

This offseason there has been a massive influx of professional European basketball players coming over the United States to try their hand at playing college basketball and now the Huskies become a part of that trend with the addition of Paunovi\u0107. <\/p>\n
