<\/p>\nIt has been an interesting offseason thus far for the Sacramento Kings as they have elected to keep their core together and compete for a playoff spot next season instead of beginning a rebuild.<\/p>\n
Of course, many around the NBA expected the Kings to start a rebuild this offseason after trading De\u2019Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs at last season\u2019s trade deadline.<\/p>\n

Instead, the Kings have elected to keep their core of Domantas Sabonis, DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine together and they also added Nique Clifford, Maxime Raynaud and Dennis Schroder to their roster this summer.<\/p>\n
While the Kings are looking to challenge for a playoff spot in the loaded Western Conference next season, they could still elect to make major changes to their roster if they find themselves struggling early on.<\/p>\n
Malik Monk named potential Kings’ trade candidate<\/p>\n
