The Bulls, famous for their dynasty led by Michael Jordan in the 1990s<\/a>, haven’t retired many jerseys.<\/p>\n Rose will be just the fifth player to have his number hanging from the rafters.<\/p>\n Jordan<\/a>, Jerry Sloan, Bob Love and Scottie Pippen are the only other players who have had their jerseys retired by the Bulls.<\/p>\n The Bulls released recently a video which shows Rose being told the news about his jersey.<\/p>\n The three-time NBA All-Star inevitably got emotional<\/a>, and started crying after hearing that there is one condition under which his jersey will be unretired.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m just telling you: nobody\u2019s wearing that No. 1 jersey again unless PJ is a Bull. Then he\u2019s wearing that No. 1 jersey. All right? Is that fair?\u201d Bulls CEO Michael Reinsdorf told Rose.<\/p>\n \u201cDerrick, we love you, we appreciate everything you\u2019ve done for Chicago.
