One of the most common is, \u2018What if Kevin Durant<\/a> never joined the Golden State Warriors<\/a>?\u2019 Would he have won the league? Would the Warriors have won three titles<\/a> in four years?<\/p>\n

What if Kyrie Irving<\/a> hadn\u2019t left LeBron James<\/a> alone in the Cleveland Cavaliers<\/a> to battle the Warriors dynasty<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Tyronn Lue<\/a> has the answer. The former Cavaliers coach believes that his ex-team would have dominated the NBA if Durant hadn\u2019t gone to San Francisco.<\/p>\n

Lue also believes the situation might be different if Irving had stayed. He reveals that the moment Irving was traded<\/a> to the Boston Celtics<\/a> crushed LeBron.<\/p>\n

Without that superteam formation, Lue envisions three consecutive championships with James and Irving leading the Cavaliers.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf KD doesn\u2019t go to Golden State, I think we win three in a row. And I think Kyrie stays, because you can\u2019t leave after that, right?\u201d Lue explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike I said, if he stays, we could have had a chance to win two or three. He made his mind up. That\u2019s like another Kobe and Shaq situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

LeBron\u2019s emotional reaction captured during foundation autograph signing<\/p>\n

Lue provided intimate details about James learning of Irving\u2019s Boston trade. The scene unfolded during a charitable event, making the emotional response more poignant.<\/p>\n

\u201cBron\u2019s doing an autograph signing with jerseys and stuff for his foundation. So I come sit next to \u2018Bron. We sitting there, handed the phone, SportsCenter: Kyrie Irving has just been traded to the Boston Celtics. Bron dropped the marker. Just lays back in his chair for about 10 minutes, doesn\u2019t say a word, like just p___d off, and Bron was crushed.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked if James would have stayed in Cleveland had Irving remained, Lue responded definitively.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, I think so. I don\u2019t think it was any ill-will against Bron, it was just something he wanted to do for his career.\u201d<\/p>\n
