Scottie Pippen made a surprising revelation about his \u2018sour\u2019 relationship with an important Chicago Bulls member.<\/p>\n

During the 1990s, no team dominated like the Chicago Bulls<\/a>. The organization won six NBA Championships led by none other than Michael Jordan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Aside from MJ, the likes of Scottie Pippen<\/a>, Dennis Rodman, Steve Kerr<\/a>, and more, played crucial roles in winning six NBA titles.<\/p>\n

The mastermind behind the Bulls dynasty was legendary head coach Phil Jackson<\/a>. While Jackson had an excellent relationship with Jordan, Pippen once made a shocking revelation about his bond with the Zen Master.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no doubt that Pippen was an integral part of the Bulls dynasty<\/a>. But it\u2019s also true that Pippen wasn\u2019t treated fairly by the Bulls.<\/p>\n

After all, a player of his caliber deserved much more than $22.2 million over 11 years with the Bulls<\/a> in his first run. Pippen has been extremely vocal about his poor relationship with Jordan since retirement.<\/p>\n

However, the 6x NBA champ once shed some light on his \u2018sour\u2019 bond with Jackson.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t have much of a relationship. I haven\u2019t talked to Phil since my playing days. I think being out in the West Coast competing against the Lakers back in the early 2000s,\u201d Pippen said, via Gimme the Hot Sauce podcast.<\/p>\n

The Bulls legend believes him joining the Portland Trail Blazers and battling it out against Jackson\u2019s LA Lakers was a key reason behind burning the bridges.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt got a little bit sour there. It was a little competitive, the Portland and Lakers thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Pippen revealed his connection with Jackson was never strong<\/p>\n

Despite playing nine seasons under Jackson and winning six NBA Championships in the process, Pippen revealed he never had a strong bond with the legendary head coach.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe and Phil\u2019s relationship has never been strong. I respect his coaching; he was great at what he did. But he\u2019s just a different type of guy,\u201d Pippen stated.<\/p>\n

In a way, it shows the level of professionalism between Pippen and Jackson. After all, they didn\u2019t allow their difference of opinion to get between the Bulls dynasty.<\/p>\n
