Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever capped off the 2025 WNBA preseason with an 81-76 win over Rhyne Howard and the Atlanta Dream for a perfect 3-0 record.<\/p>\n

Clark, who played in just her second preseason contest, finished the win with 13 points, six rebounds and seven assists. The former Iowa Hawkeyes star was absent in the Fever’s 2025 opener\u2014an overtime win over the Washington Mystics\u2014due to a leg injury.<\/p>\n

With no games for the Fever on Sunday, Clark and fellow All-Star Aliyah Boston were in attendance at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to watch the Indiana Pacers face the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 of the NBA playoffs.<\/p>\n

During the break between the first two quarters, the Jumbotron at Gainbridge Fieldhouse showed Clark and Boston in their separate suites. Both were introduced to a loud ovation from the Indiana faithful.<\/p>\n

Clark, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, was donning a white zip-up Nike hoodie<\/a> and a matching white Pacers hat.<\/p>\n

Boston, on the other hand, went with a coral colored Adidas sweatshirt<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Pacers, led by All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton, secured the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference after a 50-32 regular season. They made light work of Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round, winning the series 4-1.<\/p>\n

In the second round against the top-seeded Cavaliers, the Pacers stole the first two games on the road in Cleveland to seize homecourt advantage. However, a 126-104 loss in Game 3 decreased Indiana’s series lead to 2-1.<\/p>\n

Like the Pacers, Clark and the Fever will be eyeing a deeper run in the postseason this year with 2023 WNBA Coach of the Year Stephanie White leading the charge. A perfect 3-0 preseason could be a sign of things to come.<\/p>\n

The Fever will begin regular season play on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. ET against the Chicago Sky.<\/p>\n
