Obviously, that is not always going to go over well in Philadelphia due to the heated Eagles-Cowboys rivalry, but Maxey is from Dallas so he gets a pass.<\/p>\n<p>Maxey did get some upset Philadelphians in his Twitter mentions, which is natural, but he did defend himself by saying he is from Dallas. The 2024 All-Star guard grew up in Garland, TX which is a suburb of the city so he gets a pass for being a Cowboys fan.<\/p>\n<p>After the Eagles dispatched Dallas with a 24-20 win behind a big effort from QB Jalen Hurts, it was Maxey who took to Twitter to check back in with Philly sports fans.<\/p>\n<p>Maxey and the Sixers will look to bounce back in the 2025-26 season following a miserable 24-58 season.
