Sadler arrived in Knoxville Thursday night and spent two full days in town before leaving Sunday morning.

Sadler’s official visit gave him his first look at Tennessee’s campus and allowed him to see the energy of a football game day.

“The atmosphere,” Sadler told RTI of what stood out about his visit. “Everything about seeing what the campus looks like when it’s alive during a football game was something I really was thinking about. Everything about the campus and the atmosphere and the people there are very supportive. They really support all their athletic programs which I think is a very good thing.”

The 5-foot-10 point guard ranks as the No. 25 player and No. 3 point guard in the 2026 recruiting class according to the 247sports composite rankings.

Sadler’s visit included a film session with Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes where he highlighted areas the blue-chip point guard needs to work on but also how he could fit into the Vols’ system right away.

“He was going to say things I need to work on of course but he sees me being a guard that can come in and play right away,” Sadler said. “I do think it’s a lot to think about.”

A small guard, Sadler impressed on the AAU circuit this spring and summer with his craftiness and ability to make plays. Describing his skillset to RTI, Sadler described a traditional point guard who still has the ability to score the basketball at a high level.

“I’m a quick, shifty guard,” Sadler said. “I’m active on defense, find open guys. (And) Can shoot. I can score still at the same time.”

More From RTI: Four-Star Shooting Guard Unofficially Visiting Tennessee Basketball Saturday

The official visit and film session provided Sadler a chance to learn more about Barnes. Like many recruits, Barnes’ humor and blunt coaching stood out to Sadler.

“He’s funny. He talks about anyone,” Sadler said. “He don’t really have a filter. But I love it. I love the practice and everything. I feel like he’s a great guy.”

First-year Tennessee assistant coach Amorrow Morgan is the lead recruiter on Sadler and the five-star recruit said Morgan calls him “almost every day” and is making the Bella Vista Prep (Arizona) standout a true priority.

Sadler’s official visit gave him a chance to further build his relationship with Morgan but to also get to know Tennessee’s coaches better. It also offered him the opportunity to spend time around the current Tennessee team. With a young roster entering the season, a good chunk of those players will still be on the team in a year and Sadler was appreciative for the way they treated him.

“A bunch of cool dudes. Very welcoming,” Sadler said. “Of course they don’t have to hang out with me but they took me out a lot and gave me good treatment. Just great to be around those guys and I’m happy they let me be around them for the weekend.”

Sadler has an official visit scheduled to Oklahoma in two weeks but that’s his only other visit at the time as Syracuse and other continue to push for the blue-chip recruit. Sadler told RTI that he hopes to make a college decision by December but that there’s a chance he could wait until the spring semester.

Tennessee does not yet have a commit in its 2026 recruiting class but currently plans on hosting double-digit official visitors this fall.

Photo By Andrew Ferguson/Tennessee Athletics Tennessee basketball began its fall official visit stretch over the weekend with a…

[3724
45338,7,25488,7926,1919
0":"post-271549","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-basketball","8":"tag-amorrow-morgan","9":"tag-basketball","10":"tag-miles-sadler","11":"tag-rick-barnes","12":"tag-tennessee-basketball
["GET
