The Boston Celtics<\/a> are one of the teams in the NBA that leans hardest on its affiliate ball club at the G League level, making use of the Maine Celtics to train prospecting rotation players for a future in Boston to help fill out their roster on the cheap.<\/p>\n

And in an era with a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and the second apron restrictions that come with it, maximizing resources like the Portland-based development squad is a critical tool to fielding a contending team. Celtics Blog reporter <\/a>Noa Dalzell recently got us up to date on the players who will be suiting up for Maine this coming G League regular season with a cohort of nine incoming player.<\/p>\n
