By now, almost the entire galaxy knows who Luka Doncic<\/a> is. His popularity surged even more after he joined the <\/a>Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> last season via a blockbuster trade with the Dallas Mavericks, which changed the entire landscape of the NBA.<\/p>\n

But in an interview with The Wall Street Journal\u2019s Jason Gay, Doncic revealed some little-known facts<\/a> about himself. For example, he briefly tried gymnastics when he was growing up. He said his best event was trampoline.<\/p>\n

\u201cDifferent tricks, flips,\u201d said the Lakers guard.<\/p>\n

He also said he wants to try shark fishing in California, and probably a teeny bit of acting on the side. After all, Doncic is in Hollywood now<\/a>. Maybe he can even get some tips from LeBron James.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe some five-minute part. But I don\u2019t really know if I can be an actor,\u201d shared the 26-year-old Doncic, who starred in the latest commercial for NBA on Prime.<\/p>\n

Speaking of which, he also admitted that he\u2019s a huge fan of \u201cHigh School Musical,\u201d the teenage movie that came out in 2006 and became a global phenomenon.<\/p>\n

\u201cI watched it probably 10-15 times. I liked the singing,\u201d said the Slovenia-born Doncic. \u201cI just watched that as a kid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now that he has a kid of his own, the five-time All-Star pointed out that he\u2019s excited to get their two-year-old daughter into sports. But as Day wrote, Doncic \u201cvows not to be a crazy one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to get involved. They have coaches. I think a lot of parents get too involved. I can\u2019t wait to watch,\u201d said the Lakers playmaker.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, he is focused on entering his first full year with the Purple and Gold. He recently signed a three-year, $165 million contract extension, signaling his commitment to the Lakers and vice versa.<\/p>\n

He has stayed busy in the offseason. After undergoing a physical transformation, he led Slovenia to the quarterfinals of the EuroBasket<\/a>, while also setting multiple records.<\/p>\n

Now that he\u2019s back in Los Angeles, he can relax for a while. Maybe he should watch \u201cHigh School Musical.\u201d It could be the start of something new.<\/p>\n
