Tatum was to be carried on a wheelchair after his leg gave up while he tried a dunk. The Celtics are facing elimination possibilities after losing Game 4 to the New York Knicks. The Knicks’ Karl-Anthony Towns also came out in support of the Celtics superstar and wished him a speedy recovery.<\/p>\n

Jayson Tatum could not continue playing and had to be wheeled off the court with only 2:58 remaining in Game 4. His non-contact injury may need an MRI, as per various media reports. Tatum got support from both his side and the New York Knicks’ side when they saw the superstar writhing in pain. Boston Celtics center Al Horford expressed deep concern, saying:\u201cI mean, at this point, I’m concerned about Jayson.” He continued, \u201cThat’s the most important to me. … The game stuff, we’ll address it. But I’m just hoping that he’s OK.”<\/p>\n

Horford also got worried about a shrinking squad resulting from Jayson Tatum\u2019s absence. Talking about the impact of the star\u2019s injury on squad health, he said:”Well, it’s very concerning.” He further said, “Just from the care that I have for him and what he means to us, what he means to Boston. Just very tough for us.\u201dSpeaking on behalf of the team, he shared how Tatum\u2019s absence will affect them and said: \u201cMore importantly, it’s just really tough for him right now. Let’s see what happens. Just is very tough for our group altogether.”<\/p>\n

The New York Knicks\u2019 Karl-Anthony Towns wished him a speedy recovery and reminisced about the time he went through last year with his calf condition. Talking about his own experience while relating to Tatum\u2019s experience, Towns said:”I’ve been in a situation like that with my calf [before].” He further said:<\/p>\n
