Thunder guard Lu Dort on Grizzlies guard Ja Morant’s injury in NBA Playoffs: \u201cTough one. Hope he\u2019s OK. Running back making a hustle play for my team.”<\/p>\n

Memphis Grizzlies<\/a> star Ja Morant<\/a> exited the second quarter of an NBA playoff game against the OKC Thunder<\/a> on Thursday with a hip contusion. He will not return.<\/p>\n

Morant took a hard fall while attempting a layup with 3:15 left until halftime. He was clipped in the air by Lu Dort<\/a>, who slipped, and the play was not upgraded to a flagrant after further review.<\/p>\n

Morant was playing his best basketball of the series prior to the injury. He recorded 15 points and five assists in only 16 minutes of action.<\/p>\n
