The Orlando Magic have a shot at being one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference next season.<\/p>\n

Following a four-year playoff drought, the Orlando Magic<\/a> have once again become a postseason team in the last two seasons.<\/p>\n

In fact, it\u2019s safe to say that the Magic underperformed during the 2024-25 season due to injury troubles with their key stars.<\/p>\n

With the hope that their cornerstone stars remain healthy, the Magic front office has constructed a solid roster ahead of the 2025-26 season for head coach Jamahl Mosley<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For any team to succeed, it\u2019s important to have its cornerstone star on a long-term deal. The Magic did just that this summer by re-signing Paolo Banchero<\/a> to a five-year, $239 million contract extension.<\/p>\n

The Magic\u2019s top brass also acquired Desmond Bane via a trade from the Memphis Grizzlies<\/a>. The move sent shockwaves throughout the NBA community as it was the first major trade of the offseason.<\/p>\n

With that said, here are all the players who have re-signed or joined the Magic ahead of the upcoming season.<\/p>\n

Desmond Bane (Traded from Memphis Grizzlies<\/a>)Tyus Jones (Signed a one-year deal)Paolo Banchero (Re-signed to a five-year deal)Moritz Wagner (Re-signed to a one-year deal)<\/p>\n

Of course, Banchero\u2019s return was the biggest monetary move by the Magic, but when it comes to the most notable change, it\u2019s none other than the arrival of Bane.<\/p>\n

After all, the 27-year-old averaged 19.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game for the Grizzlies last season while shooting 48.4% from the field and 39.2% from the three-point line.<\/p>\n

There are several exciting players on the Magic\u2019s roster<\/a> next season, but at the same time, there are a few familiar faces who won\u2019t be seen on the team.<\/p>\n

Speaking of which, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope<\/a> is arguably the most notable departure from the Magic\u2019s lineup<\/a> this summer. He was sent to the Grizzlies as part of the Bane trade.<\/p>\n
