The Magic did just that this summer by re-signing Paolo Banchero to a five-year, $239 million contract extension.

The Magic’s top brass also acquired Desmond Bane via a trade from the Memphis Grizzlies. The move sent shockwaves throughout the NBA community as it was the first major trade of the offseason.

With that said, here are all the players who have re-signed or joined the Magic ahead of the upcoming season.

Desmond Bane (Traded from Memphis Grizzlies)Tyus Jones (Signed a one-year deal)Paolo Banchero (Re-signed to a five-year deal)Moritz Wagner (Re-signed to a one-year deal)

Of course, Banchero’s return was the biggest monetary move by the Magic, but when it comes to the most notable change, it’s none other than the arrival of Bane.

After all, the 27-year-old averaged 19.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game for the Grizzlies last season while shooting 48.4% from the field and 39.2% from the three-point line.

Biggest departures from the Orlando Magic’s rosterPhoto by Derick E.
