DETROIT (WILX) – The NBA has handed down suspensions stemming from an on-court scuffle between Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves players on Sunday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis.<\/p>\n
Three Pistons players and two Wolves players received suspensions.<\/p>\n
From Detroit, Isaiah Stewart received a two-game suspension. Ron Holland and Marcus Sasser were each suspended for one game.<\/p>\n
From Minnesota, Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid were each suspended for one game.<\/p>\n
The NBA stated Stewart received a longer suspension \u201cbased in part on his repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts.\u201d <\/p>\n
Stewart will start serving his suspension, and Holland and Sasser will serve theirs when the Pistons play the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n
