The Hawks selected Jumaine Jones with the No. 27 overall pick and the Sixers then stepped in and offered up a first-round selection in 2000 to give the Hawks to acquire Jones.<\/p>\n
Jones lasted two seasons in Philadelphia averaging 3.7 points and 2.3 rebounds, but he started 14 games for the Sixers in the 2001 postseason when the franchise made a run to the finals. The Sixers then sent Jones to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2001 offseason in the Matt Harpring trade.<\/p>\n
Jones also played for the Boston Celtics, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Charlotte Bobcats, and the Phoenix Suns.
