The Portland Trail Blazers continue to make moves to try to instill the culture they want.<\/p>\n

And it’s clear they want Shaedon Sharpe to be a part of that.<\/p>\n

According to NBA insider Jake Fischer<\/a>, the Trail Blazers have made a contract extension offer to Sharpe.<\/p>\n

Their offer, per the report, came in at about four years and $90 million.<\/p>\n

Sharpe is one of the most exciting players in recent Portland times. He’s a high-flying 6-foot-6 guard.<\/p>\n

The Trail Blazers initially got him as the No. 7 overall pick out of Kentucky in 2022.<\/p>\n

Sharpe, who is Canadian, has gotten better each season in the league.<\/p>\n

As a rookie, he averaged 9.9 points per game. He raised that to 15.9 points per game in his second season.<\/p>\n

In 2024-25, Sharpe put up 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 0.9 steals per game.<\/p>\n

He is only a 33% 3-point shooter in his career. That’s the skill that could potentially elevate him to superstardom if he ever improves beyond the line.<\/p>\n

Even without that, though, Sharpe is clearly a long-term, high-end starter in the NBA.<\/p>\n

And the Trail Blazers want to do what they can to make sure he’s doing that contributing in Portland and not somewhere else.<\/p>\n
