After starting his pro career abroad, Lauvergne was picked up with the 55th overall selection of the 2013 NBA Draft by the <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/basketball\/nba\/teams\/memphis-grizzlies\/29\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Memphis Grizzlies;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Memphis Grizzlies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Mulhouse, France native would play the first two seasons of his NBA career with the <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/basketball\/nba\/teams\/denver-nuggets\/7\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Denver Nuggets;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Denver Nuggets<\/a> instead, however, after a draft night deal.
