Several media outlets are covering the proceedings. Today Hoopshype released a fairly comprehensive list of <a href=\"https:\/\/hoopshype.com\/lists\/2025-nba-draft-combine-winners-and-losers\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">winners and losers at the event<\/a> so far, based mostly on measuring tapes and drills.<\/p>\n<p id=\"HWnPhT\">The article highlights Baylor guard VJ Edgecombe and North Carolina wing Drake Powell as big risers. Both get praise for their vertical leap (Powell measuring in at 43\u201d). Edgecombe\u2019s quick first step and Powell\u2019s overall agility got positive notice.<\/p>\n<p id=\"U20oYs\">Other early risers were Duke wing Cedric Coward, Texas guard Tre Johnson, Duke center Khaman Maluach, Connecticut guard\/forward Liam McNeeley, St. Joseph\u2019s forward Rasheer Fleming (who at 6\u20198 apparently has a 7\u20197 wingspan), and Georgetown center Thomas Sorber.<\/p>\n<p id=\"SkOhrO\">On the loser side of the ledger stands <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onthebanks.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rutgers<\/a> forward Ace Bailey. Though he remains a prolific scorer, the big issue is him standing at only 6 feet, 7.5 inches. Bailey\u2019s draw came as a 6\u201910 backcourt player. Apparently it was exaggerated a bit. Maryland center Derik Queen got dinged for a lack of athleticism, as did Michigan center Danny Wolf.
