The 2025 NBA playoffs<\/a> conference finals picture is complete after Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a> beat the Denver Nuggets<\/a> in Game 7 on Sunday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It will be the fifth time the Thunder have competed in the conference finals since arriving in OKC in 2008.<\/p>\n

Oklahoma City will have a home-court advantage when starting its Western Conference Finals series against the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a>.<\/p>\n

ANALYSIS: Run, gun and stun. Thunder’s offensive options, suffocating defense too much for Nuggets<\/a><\/p>\n

Minnesota has not played since clinching the series victory over the Golden State Warriors<\/a> on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The Eastern Conference Finals series will feature the Indiana Pacers<\/a> and the New York Knicks<\/a>. The Knicks haven’t played in the conference finals since losing the series 4-2 against the Pacers in 2000.<\/p>\n

The Pacers reached the conference finals for the first time in over a decade last season but were swept by the Boston Celtics<\/a> in four games. Indiana got the best of Boston this season in the semifinals, although Jayson Tatum suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon<\/a> in Game 4.<\/p>\n
