\n\tWhenever Drake<\/a> supports a team with his rooting interest or backs them with his six-figure bets and that franchise ends up losing, the 6 God hears all the noise from sports fans about the \u201cDrake Curse.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake was finally asked about the mythical curse in a mock interview he posted to his Instagram on Monday (May 19) in promotion of his partnership with Stake. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI feel like I don\u2019t play sports, whether I picked the wrong team or not, if I could get out there and win for all your favorite teams, I would,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\n\tUltimately, Drake feels vindicated that a \u201ccurse\u201d doesn\u2019t exist because the Toronto Raptors captured their first NBA championship <\/a>in 2019. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Drake curse is funny to me,\u201d he revealed. \u201cFirst of all, the Toronto Raptors are NBA champions. If there was a Drake curse, Kawhi [Leonard] would\u2019ve never hit that shot, we would\u2019ve never beat the Warriors. There is no Drake curse, but it\u2019s funny, though.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, Drake did concede that he isn\u2019t a sports gambling savant and has taken his fair share of monetary losses with bad bets over the years. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI am a flawed sports better,\u201d Drizzy admitted. \u201cI will not deny that. That\u2019s not my gift. I\u2019ll let everybody roll with it. I\u2019m sure if you\u2019re a Drake curse believer, there will be plenty more content in the future to confirm your theories because my slips do not cash out. But one day I\u2019m gonna have a parlay that\u2019s insane.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDrake added to the \u201cDrake Curse\u201d theories on Sunday night when his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs were eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs after a 6-1 thrashing at the hands of the Florida Panthers in Game 7.<\/p>\n

\n\tDrizzy actually ended up b<\/a>e<\/a>t<\/a>t<\/a>i<\/a>n<\/a>g<\/a> $1.25 million on the Maple Leafs<\/a> to take home the game 7 victory and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. <\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, Drake jokingly flipped the script and blamed the \u201cBieber Curse\u201d in his IG Story, as Justin Bieber, <\/a>who\u2019s a massive Leafs fan, was in attendance front and center at Scotiabank Arena with his wife, Hailey, to watch the excruciating loss in person.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI don\u2019t remember a time in my life when I haven\u2019t been obsessed with the leafsssss,\u201d Bieber wrote following the loss on his Instagram. <\/a>\u201cThis year we made it farther than we have in so long and im happy about that. I can be patient cuz I know this is the team to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n
