Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen are considered the two greatest Chicago Bulls of all time. MJ as the Batman and Scottie as the Robin brought six NBA<\/a> championships to the Windy City. But despite all their shared success, Jordan and Pippen\u2019s relationship now entails a lot of regret.<\/p>\n

Jordan cast a large shadow, and that has clearly always bothered Pippen. The Last Dance documentary didn\u2019t help, and Scottie\u2019s reply with his autobiography proved it. And then there was the whole Marcus Jordan dating Larsa Pippen fiasco. It\u2019s easy to see why the two no longer talk, but apparently Jordan isn\u2019t happy about it.<\/p>\n

\u201cPhil (Jackson) was very sympathetic toward (Pippen), despite whatever things he said about him,\u201d longtime Bulls reporter Sam Smith told HoopsHype<\/a>. \u201cHe said, \u2018I feel like Scottie\u2019s had bad advice.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the touching thing, though, was that when I asked him about how Michael reacted, he said Michael was really hurt by it, and not angry. He regrets losing this relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t have seen that from Michael, that Michael would feel the things that Scottie has said about him that have been critical or interpreted as really negative; instead of getting angry, he just felt a sense of loss.\u201d<\/p>\n

Even though fans would love to see it, it\u2019s hard to see Jordan and Pippen\u2019s relationship ever recovering. Too much has been said and done for there to be anything left there but regret. It\u2019s a shame, though, as they remain the greatest duo the NBA has ever seen.<\/p>\n
