There were seven games on the schedule. One was postponed because of that wicked windstorm that howled through here Friday. Section showdowns highlighted the slate. Chloe Wilkinson (season-high 22 points), Elleyana Handran (season-high 14 points) and Caitlyn McCoach (season-high 11 points) showed the way for E-town, which was outscored 10-4 in the third quarter and trailed 39-35 heading into the fourth. Laina Steiner (19 points), Leah Kurtz (season-high 10 points) and Katie Hoffman (season-high 10 points) paced Garden Spot.<\/p>\n<p>Solanco at Conestoga Valley, PPD \u2014 The Golden Mules and the Buckskins did not play Thursday because those high winds knocked the power out at CV. No makeup date to report. Stay tuned.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Also in Section 2, the 3-way tie at the top was snapped when Warwick remained hot compliments of a 52-43 victory over Cocalico, which had its 6-game winning tear halted. Carla Mann (season-high 12 points) and Elaina Hostetter (10 points) keyed L-S; Paige Umble scored 8 points for Donegal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Manheim Central 29, Elco 18 \u2014 The Barons used a 6-0 second-quarter clip for a 16-4 lead at the half, and then opened up some breathing room with a 10-5 third-quarter spurt to remain with L-S in the lead pack.
