Big Sean<\/a> is embracing his new role with the Detroit Pistons. <\/p>\n

On Monday, December 22, the Detroit<\/a> native announced he will serve as the new Creative Director of Global Experience for his hometown’s NBA team. Sean’s role is an expansion of his partnership with the Pistons. He will be heavily involved with the team’s creative direction, community engagement, and global fan outreach. The Grammy-nominated artist will also use his platform to help introduce Detroit Basketball to new audiences worldwide. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s been an honor to serve the Pistons community, and stepping into this expanded role as Creative Director of Global Experience allows me to do it on an even bigger scale,” Sean said in a statement<\/a>. <\/p>\n

“Detroit has always been rich with talent and culture, and my mission is to keep opening doors and hiring our city’s creatives to shine alongside one of the most iconic franchises in sports,” he added. “I’m grateful to the Pistons for trusting me to help define what the culture of Detroit Basketball really means.”<\/p>\n

Sean has been working with the Detroit Pistons for the past few years and has participated in several brand activations. He participated in \u201cDetroit Kickback\u201d to help announce the Pistons\u2019 partnership with StockX and has collaborated with the team for their Don Life practice jerseys as well as the Pistons\u2019 2022-23 \u201cSt. C\u2019s\u201d Nike NBA City Edition Uniforms. <\/p>\n
