It was a 17-17 game at the half when Ephrata seized control with a 10-1 third-quarter run. Pequea Valley 77, Fleetwood 29 \u2014 In a makeup game from a weather postponement on Dec. 15, the Braves bolted to a 29-9 lead, opened up a cozy 54-21 lead at the half, and coasted past the host Tigers. Janae Patterson (27 points), Shelyce Burke (three 3-pointers, season-high 17 points) and Olive Martin (career-high 11 points) keyed PV, which pocketed its fifth win in a row.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Solanco 44, Donegal 33 \u2014 The Golden Mules snagged the lead for good with a 15-8 second-quarter clip on the way to securing their second win in a row. Kira Lehman poured a season-high 26 points, Corinne Fair hit three 3-pointers \u2014 giving her a league-best 31 treys \u2014 and added 13 points, and Cocalico closed the game on a 20-9 blitz and stormed past the Comets. Penn Manor had a 15-5 third-quarter run to grab a. 35-28 lead, but couldn\u2019t slam the proverbial door. Boiling Springs 33, McCaskey 28 \u2014 The Red Tornado had a 15-7 lead at the break after a 10-4 second-quarter spurt. But the host Bubblers closed the game on a 26-13 spree and rallied past McCaskey. Sariiah Sweeney popped in 11 points for the Tornado.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
New Oxford 51, Manheim Central 42 \u2014 The Barons loaded up the bus and trekked it to Adams County, where they fell behind 23-8 after the first quarter and couldn\u2019t get over the hump against the host Colonials.
