A four-player NBA trade proposal sending Trae Young<\/a> from the Atlanta Hawks to the Milwaukee Bucks has been created. <\/p>\n

NBA writer Blake Silverman of Sports Illustrated<\/a> created the following trade proposal: <\/p>\n

Milwaukee Bucks receive: Trae Young<\/p>\n

Atlanta Hawks receive:\u00a0Kyle Kuzma<\/a>, Bobby Portis<\/a>, Andre Jackson Jr.<\/a>, 2026 first-round pick (least favorable of Milwaukee and New Orleans)<\/p>\n

The Hawks are open to trading Young and the Bucks are looking to get more talent around superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo<\/a>, sources told Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal<\/a>. <\/p>\n

This trade proposal accomplishes both goals.<\/p>\n

Extension talks between Young and the Hawks haven\u2019t progressed and Atlanta has been gathering intel about Young\u2019s marketplace dating back to this past offseason, sources told Afseth. <\/p>\n

Young is making $45.9 million this season. The Oklahoma product can become an unrestricted free agent next offseason by declining his 2026-27 player option worth $48.9 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A four-time All-Star, Young is averaging 19.3 points and 8.9 assists per game this season while shooting 41.5% from the field, 30.5% from beyond the arc and 86.3% from the free-throw line. The Hawks are only 2-8 with him in the lineup.<\/p>\n

Young hasn\u2019t been linked to Milwaukee in trade rumors as of this writing, but that could change, especially since the Bucks need a point guard after parting ways with Damian Lillard<\/a> this past offseason.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old Young has career averages of 25.2 points and 9.8 assists per game. Many people around the NBA expect the one-time assists champion to be traded by the Hawks this season. <\/p>\n

Young doesn\u2019t have a no-trade clause in his contract, preventing him from controlling his future.<\/p>\n

This trade proposal pairs Young with Antetokounmpo and Myles Turner<\/a>. Young is one of the best passers in the NBA, so Antetokounmpo and Turner would likely flourish playing alongside him since they are lob and pick-and-roll threats.<\/p>\n
