He was a full-time starter before the injury and was averaging 16.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 33.4 minutes per night.<\/p>\n<p>The release from the Blazers doesn\u2019t offer a timetable of when Holiday might return to action, stating that \u201cavailability will be determined based on functional response to loading and updated accordingly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The team also provides updates on several other players, stating that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/t\/thybuma01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.hoopsrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-01-01_bbr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Matisse Thybulle<\/a> is progressing toward a return after undergoing <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopsrumors.com\/2025\/10\/blazers-thybulle-undergoes-thumb-surgery-out-4-6-weeks.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">thumb surgery<\/a> in late October. The release states that Thybulle has been \u201cworking on a progressive ramp up\u201d but is experiencing persistent symptoms of right knee tendinopathy. Thybulle appeared in four games prior to the surgery.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/h\/hendesc01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.hoopsrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-01-01_bbr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Scoot Henderson<\/a>, who hasn\u2019t played yet this season because of a hamstring issue, has begun \u201cnon-contact, on-court basketball activities.\u201d The No. 3 pick in the 2023 draft will be reevaluated in two weeks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/g\/grantje01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.hoopsrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-01-01_bbr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jerami Grant<\/a>, who has been sidelined since December 18 with left Achilles tendonitis, is traveling with the team on its current road trip and is considered day-to-day.
