Across Tuesday’s game in Memphis and Thursday’s game in Dallas, Embiid played in two games during a three-day span for the second time this season.

Before that pair of appearances, Embiid’s season-high in minutes was 32; he played 38 minutes in Memphis and tacked on another 35 in Dallas. Embiid playing in New York would mark his first time this season playing three games in a five-day span.

Over the last week, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Trendon Watford have both returned to practice and made strides as they near returns. Oubre was fourth in the NBA in minutes per game prior to the Nov. 14 game in which he was injured, starting in all of his appearances, while Watford was not a permanent starter but was a rotation fixture at power forward for head coach Nick Nurse.

Follow Adam on Twitter: @SixersAdam
Follow PhillyVoice on Twitter: @thephillyvoice

Joel Embiid (right knee injury management) is probable to play when the Sixers conclude their five-game road trip…

[3768
7,936,6462,304,6,1136,191,3810,3806,678,207,96,34489,3804
0":"post-512697","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-new-york-knicks","8":"tag-basketball","9":"tag-joel-embiid","10":"tag-kelly-oubre-jr","11":"tag-knicks","12":"tag-nba","13":"tag-new-york","14":"tag-new-york-knicks","15":"tag-newyork","16":"tag-newyorkknicks","17":"tag-philadelphia","18":"tag-philadelphia-76ers","19":"tag-sixers","20":"tag-sports-injuries","21":"tag-trendon-watford
["GET
