{"id":51293,"date":"2025-05-23T05:46:10","date_gmt":"2025-05-23T05:46:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/51293\/"},"modified":"2025-05-23T05:46:10","modified_gmt":"2025-05-23T05:46:10","slug":"cooper-fills-boys-basketball-coaching-position-with-man-in-charge-of-highly-successful-girls-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/51293\/","title":{"rendered":"Cooper fills boys basketball coaching position with man in charge of highly successful girls program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Terry Boehmker<br \/>NKyTribune sports reporter<\/p>\n<p>It didn\u2019t take long for Cooper to find a new boys head basketball coach.<\/p>\n<p>School officials selected girls head basketball coach Justin Holthaus to fill the position three weeks after telling long-time boys head coach Tim Sullivan that his contract would not be renewed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Justin-Holthaus.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-459247\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Justin-Holthaus.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"193\" height=\"324\"  \/><\/a>Justin Holthaus<\/p>\n<p>Holthaus was an assistant on Sullivan\u2019s coaching staff before he was named Cooper girls head basketball coach in 2020.
