At the beginning of the season, <a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/chicago-bulls\/bulls-news-coby-white-will-miss-start-of-season-with-calf-injury\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">White was out with a calf injury<\/a>. In late December, history repeated itself when <a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/chicago-bulls\/bulls-news-coby-white-calf-injury-timberwolves\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">White sustained another calf injury<\/a> on Dec. 29 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, White came out in the second quarter and didn&#8217;t return as the Bulls lost 136-101. Now, <a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/chicago-bulls\/bulls-josh-giddey-coby-white-get-injury-timelines-for-injury-concerns\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">White is out and will be reevaluated in one week<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, he <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CHSN_Bulls\/status\/2007158381333909838\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">talked about his mindset<\/a> heading into this injury-plagued season before the Bulls take on the Orlando Magic, per Bulls on CHSN. His points average is currently the second-highest of his career. During the 2024\/2025 season, White achieved his highest scoring average of 20.4 points per game.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, he is being <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/cleveland-cavaliers\/cavs-perfect-coby-white-trade-offer-to-bulls\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">inundated<\/a> with rumors of a trade before the trade deadline on February 5. Among the teams reportedly interested in White are the Minnesota Timberwolves, Atlanta Hawks, and Cleveland Cavaliers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>White is slated to become an unrestricted free agent at the conclusion of his season. He is in the final year of his <a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/chicago-bulls\/bulls-news-coby-white-agrees-to-3-year-33-million-contract2023-nba-free-agency\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">three-year, $36 million deal<\/a> he signed with Chicago in 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Injuries have been one of the Bulls&#8217; Achilles heels.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Throughout this season, the Bulls have had to <a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/chicago-bulls\/bulls-news-chicago-11-players-injury-report-hornets-clash\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">endure numerous injuries to key players<\/a>. In the same game in which White went out, Josh Giddey went down with a hamstring injury.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a result, <a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/chicago-bulls\/bulls-news-josh-giddey-out-multiple-weeks-hamstring-strain\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Giddey will be reevaluated in two weeks<\/a>.
