The\u00a0Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a>\u00a0travel on the road to face the\u00a0Golden State Warriors<\/a>\u00a0on Friday. This will be the third matchup of the season between the two squads. OKC won the first two as the most\u00a0recent victory<\/a>\u00a0was on Dec. 2.<\/p>\n

The Thunder (29-5) have won three in a row. They returned to their dominant ways in a 124-95 win over the\u00a0Portland Trail Blazers<\/a>\u00a0on Wednesday to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had an efficient 30 points in three quarters.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Warriors<\/a> (18-16) have won five of their last six games. A much-needed stretch for the veteran squad. They collected a 132-125 win over the\u00a0Charlotte Hornets<\/a>\u00a0on Wednesday. Stephen Curry had 26 points in his annual homecoming.<\/p>\n

This one is all but over. Gilgeous-Alexander had 30 points and seven assists. Holmgren had 15 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks. Everything has gone OKC’s way.<\/p>\n

Another 3-pointer for Dort at the buzzer. Everything went OKC’s way. A 19-0 run turned this from a single-digit contest to a lopsided score. Gilgeous-Alexander has 16 points and five assists. Let’s see if they can keep slamming the gas in the second half, though. We all remember what happened last time the Thunder visited Golden State.<\/p>\n

Holmgren is kinda taking over this game. Grabs the offensive rebound and gets the second-chance putback. He has eight points, eight rebounds and two blocks. The Warriors call a timeout.<\/p>\n

Some flares are going on as the Thunder create a decent lead. Pat Spencer gets hit with a technical foul. Looks like he was trash-talking the OKC bench. Thunder assistant David Akinyooye made sure things didn’t escalate. Cason Wallace and Lu Dort were laughing after the referee called it.<\/p>\n

Holmgren with the second-chance bucket. The defense has been awesome so far. The Warriors don’t have anybody who can create their own shot. The Thunder offense gotta get better, though.<\/p>\n

The Thunder will start Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Cason Wallace, Lu Dort, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren. The Warriors will start Brandin Podziemski, Moses Moody, Will Richards, Gui Santos and Quinten Post.<\/p>\n
