ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. \u2014 The New Mexico Lobos maintained their dominance at The Pit on Saturday night, securing a commanding 78\u201358 victory over Wyoming behind a dominant second-half performance, a career-best showing from freshman Tomislav Buljan, and another electrifying home crowd.<\/p>\n

Behind a season-high 17 offensive rebounds and 16 second-chance points, New Mexico wore down Wyoming\u2019s defense and pulled away for a 78\u201358 victory.<\/p>\n
Tomislav Buljan led with 25 points and 12 rebounds as the Lobos dominated the Cowboys in front of 13,763 at The Pit.<\/p>\n

With the win, New Mexico improved to 11\u20133 overall and 2\u20131 in Mountain West play, remaining unbeaten at home this season and extending its home winning streak to 20 games \u2014 one of the longest active streaks in the country. Wyoming dropped to 10\u20134 overall and 1\u20132 in conference play.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a good performance tonight. I thought we found our rhythm after the second media timeout and played well defensively from that point on.<\/p>\n

Back-and-Forth Early, Lobos Finish Strong<\/p>\n

Wyoming briefly seized momentum midway through the first half, using a pair of scoring runs to build a seven-point advantage and quiet the crowd.<\/p>\n
New Mexico responded with poise.<\/p>\n
Sparked by Buljan\u2019s interior presence and defensive stops, the Lobos finished the half on a strong run, taking the lead late and going into the locker room up 34\u201331.<\/p>\n
Buljan led early with 13 points and five rebounds, setting the tone for what would be a dominant night.<\/p>\n
Second-Half Surge Breaks It Open<\/p>\n
The game turned decisively in the opening minutes of the second half.<\/p>\n
Jake Hall buried back-to-back three-pointers to increase the lead to nine and force a Wyoming timeout, igniting The Pit.<\/p>\n

From there, New Mexico increased its defensive effort, disrupted Wyoming\u2019s offensive rhythm, and gradually pulled ahead.<\/p>\n
An 8\u20130 run widened the lead to double digits, and every Cowboy effort was answered. By the midway point of the half, the Lobos were clearly in control, turning stops into points and demonstrating balanced offensive execution.<\/p>\n
A late 10\u20130 burst sealed the outcome, as New Mexico closed the night with authority and a 20-point victory in front of a season-high crowd of 13,763.<\/p>\n
Buljan Shines & Lobo Bench Provides Lift<\/p>\n
Buljan delivered his best performance of the season, finishing with a career-high 25 points on an ultra-efficient 11-of-13 shooting and grabbing 12 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the year.<\/p>\n

Uriah Tenette provided a key spark off the bench with 14 points, while Luke Haupt added 10.<\/p>\n
Deyton Albury matched his season high with seven assists, helping the Lobos record 15 assists \u2014 a season-high allowed by Wyoming, which entered the game leading the nation in lowest assist percentage.<\/p>\n

The 20-game home winning streak is now the fifth-longest in program history and the longest since the mid-2000s, reaffirming The Pit\u2019s reputation as one of the toughest venues in college basketball.<\/p>\n
