The Boston Celtics will make the trip back to their home arena of TD Garden to face off with the Chicago Bulls<\/a> this Monday (Jan. 5) evening. It will be their first tilt at home in five games, going all the way back to Boston’s home contest with the Indiana Pacers<\/a> on on Monday, Dec. 22.<\/p>\n

Such games can often be a bit of a trap game with guards naturally coming down a bit with the home crowd behind you and your own bed awaiting you after a long time away. But the Bulls have been struggling in recent play with several key players out injured. We expect a Boston win, but keep an eye on how the Celtics play Chicago in light of their several reported absences.<\/p>\n

At present, the Celtics have a 22-12 record and a two-game win streak coming into tonight’s contest. That has them third in the Eastern Conference standings.<\/p>\n
