The younster featured in the video, Elijah Williams, is the son of Monty Williams.<\/p>\n
Monty Williams played for the Spurs from 1996-1998 and then returned the San Antonio as an intern to the coaching staff. He was working with the Spurs when they won their 2005 championship, which featured a superstar named Tim Duncan. You starting to see some of the connections here?<\/p>\n
He has been the head coach of TMI Episcopal since 2024. His eldest son, Elijah, is a senior for the Panthers and recently signed with Baylor. Draven Duncan is also a senior.<\/p>\n
Elijah\u2019s younger brother, Micah, also plays basketball under his father at TMI.<\/p>\n
The TMI Panthers also came out to the Frost Bank Center as Mitch Johnson hosted the 2025 Spurs Coaches Clinic that took place last October before the Silver & Black Scrimmage. Makes sense considering their multiple ties to the Spurs.<\/p>\n
