The Cleveland Cavaliers<\/a> pulled out an exciting 120-116 win<\/a> over the Indiana Pacers thanks to 14 fourth-quarter points from Darius Garland. Unfortunately, if you were in the greater Cleveland area watching on FanDuel Sports Network Cleveland, you weren\u2019t able to witness the conclusion of the game.<\/p>\n

The network\u2019s feed cut out with exactly two minutes left in the fourth quarter and never returned. The last play that was seen was Craig Porter Jr.\u2019s block on Andrew Nembhard to keep it a six-point game.<\/p>\n

The video feed cut away and was replaced with a screen that said there were technical difficulties<\/a>, and there was no audio. After a few minutes, audio returned, but it was muffled at best, which made it difficult to follow along with what was happening. It stayed that way through the remainder of the game.<\/p>\n

The technical difficulties continued on after the final buzzer, which resulted in the postgame show being cancelled<\/a> altogether.<\/p>\n

Needless to say, this was an infuriating experience<\/a> for those paying to watch this game. It\u2019s expensive to watch the games through cable. FanDuel Sports Network allows fans to stream games with a wide variety of options. Single games can be purchased for $6.99 each, a monthly plan can be bought for $19.99 a month, and an annual pass can be bought for $189.99.<\/p>\n

This outage happened after a report from Tom Friend of the Sports Business Journal<\/a> stating that FanDuel Sports Network\u2019s parent company, Main Street Sports Group, has missed payments to \u201cnumerous\u201d NBA teams. It currently broadcasts games for 13 teams.<\/p>\n

The network is expected to be able to continue broadcasting regional games for the remainder of the season. However, there\u2019s some concern that \u201cemergency backup plans<\/a>\u201d may be needed in case FanDuel Sports Network isn\u2019t able to do so.<\/p>\n

Whether or not any of this impacted the network\u2019s ability to broadcast the end of Tuesday\u2019s game in Indianapolis is unknown. What we do know is that Cavs fans in Cleveland weren\u2019t able to watch the end of a game they paid money to do so.
