Guard Jamaree Bouyea (concussion protocol) was ruled out<\/a> for the second straight game while Grayson Allen, who had missed nine games with a right knee injury and returned Monday, was not on the latest injury report before the Phoenix Suns face the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Bouyea last saw court time (nine minutes) in Sunday\u2019s win over the NBA-leading Oklahoma City Thunder. He has averaged 7.6 points (56.2% shooting), 2.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 19 games for Phoenix since signing a two-way contract on Nov. 17.<\/p>\n

Allen didn\u2019t score (0 for 6) in his return against the Houston Rockets, but he led the team with six assists and added four steals and three rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench.<\/p>\n

Jordan Goodwin is available and will continue to wear a face mask due to a previously sprained jaw.<\/p>\n

Rounding out those on the Suns injury report was Jalen Green, who remains out with a right hamstring strain. After his return-to-play timetable was pushed back two to three weeks on Dec. 22, Green has now entered the new reevaluation window.<\/p>\n

Phoenix (21-15) currently is the seventh seed in the Western Conference standings, while Devin Booker<\/a> hasn\u2019t gotten much love in the latest batch of NBA All-Star voting.<\/p>\n

Grizzlies injury report vs. Suns<\/p>\n

The Memphis Grizzlies (16-20) have a very lengthy injury listing \u2014 seven players out \u2014 but that didn\u2019t prevent them from taking down the current No. 2 seed San Antonio Spurs in a 106-105 win on Tuesday night. Jaren Jackson Jr. carried the offensive load (21 points on 7 for 16 shooting) and Cam Spencer added eight assists and had zero turnovers in 30 minutes.<\/p>\n

Star point guard Ja Morant missed his second straight game against San Antonio due to a right calf contusion, and has dealt with one previous calf and three previous ankle injuries this season. He has averaged 19 points, 3.2 rebounds and 7.6 assists in 18 games.<\/p>\n

Zach Edey has been limited to 11 games \u2014 in which the Grizzlies went 7-4 \u2014 due to a left ankle stress fracture and was ruled out for about a month on Dec. 11. He has averaged a double-double (13.6 points and 11.1 rebounds) so far into his second year in the NBA.<\/p>\n

Ty Jerome (right calf strain), Brandon Clarke (right calf strain), Cedric Coward (left ankle sprain), John Konchar (left thumb UCL surgery recovery) and Scotty Pippen Jr. (left great toe surgery recovery) were all ruled out for the first of Memphis\u2019 back-to-back games on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Coward, who has averaged 13.7 points, 6.6 assists and 2.9 assists, sustained the ankle injury in Sunday\u2019s loss to the Los Angeles Lakers and Konchar hasn\u2019t played since Dec. 7 and is out indefinitely.<\/p>\n
