However, come Wednesday, Buzelis was all smiles as he <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/KCJHoop\/status\/2008932327443857452\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">took part<\/a> in shootaround activities in Detroit, per K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Sports Network.<\/p>\n<p>A sign that certainly bodes well for the Bulls. Meanwhile, the <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/injuries\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NBA Injury<\/a> Report <a href=\"https:\/\/ak-static.cms.nba.com\/referee\/injury\/Injury-Report_2026-01-07_11_30AM.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">does list<\/a> Coby White as \u201cquestionable\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/chicago-bulls\/bulls-news-coby-white-return-calf-injury-celtics\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">due to a recent calf strain<\/a> and Buzelis as \u201cprobable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Also, Josh Giddey is listed as out <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/chicago-bulls\/bulls-news-josh-giddey-out-multiple-weeks-hamstring-strain\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">following a hamstring injury<\/a>. Plus, <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/chicago-bulls\/bulls-news-zach-collins-toe-injury\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Zach Collins is out with a toe injury<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Bulls are 17-19 and are just coming off a 115-101 loss to the Boston Celtics on Monday. In that game, Buzelis finished with 26 points and three rebounds in 31 minutes of play.<\/p>\n<p>Altogether, Buzelis is averaging 14.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game and has played in 36 games total. Also, he found a comfortable place in the starting rotation in his sophomore season with the Bulls.<\/p>\n<p>Already, Buzelis has become a highlight reel with his emphatic dunks. Indeed, none has been more memorable than his <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/chicago-bulls\/bulls-news-matas-buzelis-dunk-jalen-suggs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">recent dunk on Jalen Suggs of the Orlando Magic<\/a>, which has been labeled as the \u201cdunk of the year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Safe to say that Buzelis has been an integral part of the Bulls&#8217; offensive flow.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, Matas Buzelis has kept himself intact.<\/p>\n<p>Considering the<a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/chicago-bulls\/bulls-news-chicago-11-players-injury-report-hornets-clash\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> injuries afflicting the Bulls<\/a>, Buzelis has largely remained healthy during the course of this season.<\/p>\n<p>However, there was one exception on Nov. 21, 2025, against the Miami Heat. In the third quarter, Buzelis <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/chicago-bulls\/bulls-news-matas-buzelis-injury-scare-nba-cup-heat\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">went down after rolling his ankle<\/a> and had to be taken off the floor.
