Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray is having an incredible season.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s averaging a career-high 25.4 points per game in 34 contests with the Nuggets thus far. He\u2019s also dishing out 7.2 assists per night and grabbing 4.6 rebounds. Those are also the best marks of his career right now.<\/p>\n

And while Murray has never been an All-Star, it looks like it might finally happen this season<\/a>. He is an NBA champ, going on an epic run with Nikola Jokic and the rest of the Nuggets in 2023.<\/p>\n

But other things are still eluding him, as he told Marc J. Spears of\u00a0<\/a>Andscape.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAll-Star, everything. Scoring champ. MVP. All of it,\u201d Jamal Murray told Spears in his feature story that was published on Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As long as he plays with Jokic, being an MVP might be tough, but you have to love Murray shooting for the stars. Right now his 25.4 points per game are 18th in the NBA, so a scoring title almost assuredly won\u2019t happen this year, but he\u2019s trending in the right direction.<\/p>\n

And at 28-years-old, Jamal Murray should have a lot left in the tank. Both for individual accomplishments and team goals with the Nuggets.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of good teams in the West, so I feel like we\u2019ve got to bring it every night. Once we bring it every night, everything will take care of itself,\u201d Murray also told Spears<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Winning a second championship with Jokic would cement Murray as one the best \u201csecond stars\u201d on a team in a long time. That\u2019s starting to reach rare company, doing it with the same duo. The NBA has had a unique title-winner each of the last seven years.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s cool to see Jamal Murray set high goals. He wants it all \u2014 both for Denver and for himself.<\/p>\n
