Postgame, the Vanderbilt alum opened up about how it felt to play vs. Boston on a night they honored his contributions to their 2024 NBA title, as well as his time with the team. “\u201cI think unfortunately, I was able to play a little bit,” he explained. “So, I think the adrenaline has already kicked in, so, the ability to have too many emotions was a little muted, unfortunately.”<\/p>\n
“But, you know, I obviously appreciated my time here,” added Kornet. “I have nothing but positive things to say about the organization and really just all the people in it.”<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m really grateful,” he continued. “It is a little bit of a strange day I think, just being in Boston and staying in a hotel. I\u2019m realizing how much time I spent on the road, driving to the games, and on the other side of the hallway in the locker room.”<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s definitely a cool day to have and obviously, being able to come and win the game. I\u2019ve been really thankful for the time here and grateful to God for the kind of the place of life that it was for me and my family.”<\/p>\n
