This weekend, London’s O2 Arena will become the temporary home of the National Basketball Association – better known as the NBA. The American sports federation usually resides in the USA, but for one night only, the UK will host two giant teams for a day of sensational entertainment and sport.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, beginning at 3pm, the capital’s biggest arena will welcome 20,000 sports fans to watch the Memphis Grizzlies take on Orlando Magic. The two teams will bring their star players out for the game, as well.<\/p>\n

The Grizzlies have two-time NBA All-Star Ja Morant and two-time NBA All-Star and 2022-23 Kia NBA Defensive Player of the Year Jaren Jackson Jr. Meanwhile, The Magic will be welcoming NBA All-Star Paolo Banchero and Desmond Bane to the court.<\/p>\n

Tickets for this historic game were first released last year, and basketball fans snapped them up in no time. As a result, fans keen to get involved this weekend may feel out of luck but there is hope.<\/p>\n

Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.<\/p>\n
